June 29- 30,2017

Washington, D.C.

Hyatt Regency Washington, Capitol Hill

On June 29 – 30, 2017 WorldTEK Events brings Intrasect to Washington, D.C.  –  the first conference of its kind to engage key stakeholders in a comprehensive and engaging examination of existing and future regulatory policy governing the usage of commercial autonomous vehicles.

WorldTEK Events is working with C_TEC (Chamber Technology Engagement Center) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, to provide a premier program for hundreds of delegates including congressional policy makers, technology experts, commercial innovators, and others as we examine:

  • detect & avoid technologies
  • last mile economics
  • integration into manned systems
  • cybersecurity
  • insurance & risk containment
  • operating standards
  • vehicle tracking
  • state vs. federal mandates
  • public perceptions & privacy issues
  • urban planning

World-wide research and development of commercial applications for autonomous air, land and sea vehicles is well underway and, in fact, much further ahead of regulatory and policy agencies now working to adapt governance to the commercial usage of autonomous technology.

Intrasect is the first conference of its kind to address the push-pull that exists between commercial usage of autonomous vehicles and the laws to which it applies. How do we make sure that future policy, governing the lawful and safe usage of unmanned vehicles, will not restrict businesses from capitalizing on the unlimited opportunities ahead for growth and innovation? How can we help shape future policy to protect commercial initiatives already in place and those in the future?
